Eagle

Community-Minded Eagle is a growing mountain urban area with room to sprawl.  The original downtown core of Capitol Street is historic and filled with locally owned small businesses. The building of Eagle Ranch area in 2000 exploded this sleepy town into a hub of locals who work in the mountains and want a more affordable place to live.  About 30 minutes from Vail, and 30 minutes from Glenwood Springs, as our long valley split by I-70 grows, Eagle is becoming more central every year.

The valley is narrow from Vail through Edwards, and as Eagle approaches it widens significantly to allow many more communities on relatively flat areas that surround the Eagle River Delta area, where Brush Creek and Eby Creek combine.  Golf courses, summer festivals, fly fishing, farming, and a family-friendly community with bike paths and great local schools abound!  

It's also lower in elevation than the rest of our valley, at only 6,683 ft above sea level, so there is plenty of breathing room!
